Description :
GPP is seeking an organized individual that can manage the workflow into and through the tax department and within the strict deadlines to the Internal Revenue Service. We work in a paperless environment using management software (GoFileRoom- GFR) and our due date software (Practice Solutions). Our Tax Administrator must review the workload of each preparer, file tax returns, handle client priorities and work with the tax partner to adjust workload(s) accordingly. Other responsibilities include: • Gather information from other departments (audit, accounting) and partners to determine outstanding returns. • Alert partners if returns are in jeopardy of not being completed in promised time frame. • Ensure that documents from mail, fax, email, partners, audit and accounting are either scanned into GFR or distributed to preparers with appropriate GFR flow. • Supervise scanning personnel to make sure documents are barcoded and scanned accurately into GFR. • Process returns promptly to client and resulting submission to federal and state. • Receive e-file authorizations and e-file returns with IRS, make any changes necessary for successful e-filing. • Create reports as needed from UltraTax; keep client records accurate for changes/deletions. • Handle client queries when returns may be ready and provide additional information needed by clients Our team members enjoy the fast-paced work of providing solutions to the business problems our clients face.
